Our story
Hi, I’m Emerald, the heart behind Jolly Tots.
I am a mum to two boys, Alfie & Vinnie, and have worked in community admin roles for 15+years. I was looking for something more meaningful, along with the balance of parenthood. I was growing tired of the typical 9-5 desk job and wanted to find my passion by working alongside the community and children with their caregivers. This is where Jolly Tots has bloomed.
As a mum, I know how important community and connections are - not just for our children, but for us too.
Jolly Tots is something I’m deeply passionate about, and I’m so excited to continue growing it into a space where everyone feels welcome.

Jolly Tots is an intergenerational play experience connecting children, families and aged care residents through simple, joyful moments
WHAT WE DO
Our sessions are relaxed, engaging, and designed to feel warm and welcoming for everyone involved.
Together we share:
Music and movement
Simple, playful activities
Free play and natural interaction
Moments of calm, curiosity and connection
Children are free to explore, residents are invited to engage in ways that feel comfortable, and families can simply enjoy being part of something meaningful
WHY IT MATTERS?
Connection doesn’t have an age limit.
For children, these experiences build confidence, empathy and a sense of belonging in the wider community.
For aged care residents, they bring light, purpose and moments of joy that can brighten an entire day.
In these shared spaces, something special happens - barriers soften, generations understand each other, and simple moments become lasting memories

As a mum, I know how important connection and community are, not just for our children, but for us too. Life can feel busy and isolating at times, I truly believe in creating spaces where people can come together in a way that feels easy, genuine and supportive.
Taking over Jolly Tots felt like such a natural step for me. It brings together everything I value - family, community, and meaningful connection.
I’m so excited to continue growing Jolly Tots into something that reaches more families, more communities, and more hearts.
